九十年代的沙特阿拉伯因早年的政治變革社會風(fēng)氣日趨保守，任何形式的藝術(shù)創(chuàng)作都被視為異端，女性外出亦須穿著全黑頭巾及罩布，只能露出一雙眼睛。正值花樣年華的Norah生在偏遠(yuǎn)村落，從小就向往大城市的多姿多采，不甘只作傳統(tǒng)女性一輩子在家相夫教子，但三姑六婆為她安排的婚期已推無可推。有日村上來了城市出身、原為畫家的新老師，令她犯下禁忌仍竭力追求，只為一幅屬于自己的畫像。Tawfik Alzaidi的長片出道作講述一男一女于這個藝術(shù)有罪的年代追求自由的故事，成為首部入選康城影展的沙特電影，更奪得一種關(guān)注單元特別表揚。
